LTA President Visits HTTC

The club had some special guests visiting us recently. The President of the LTA, David Rawlinson (second from the end on the right), who oversees all of the 2,700 clubs in the country and Kate Stock, Chair of Leicestershire LTA (third from the right), came to see our fantastic Thursday disability session we put on and to discuss our vision for the club.

Sessions like this would not be possible without the tireless work that John McGowan puts in to obtain grants to help fund, from our volunteers who assist with the sessions and coaches Ben and Carl. And a huge thank you to our two disability tennis benefactors, the Hargreaves Foundation and the Oakland Foundation who continue to support the club with disability funding.

Although the weather was not great for the visit, we were delighted to show off our great coaching sessions that we put on for all ages and abilities and our usual Hinckley hospitality!
