Charnwood Mixed Teams

Charnwood Tennis Club's mixed doubles campaign started well with two wins out of three following home matches played on the 14th and 15th of July.
Their strong and talented First Team had an excellent win over Lutterworth firsts by eight sets to one played on the savannah courts.

The seconds had an exciting fixture against Carisbrooke B which at four sets all went to a tie breaker in the ninth set. Carisbrooke won this to secure a victory by five sets to four.

Charnwood's fifth team hosted Market Bosworth thirds and played some splendid tennis to secure a victory by seven sets to two.
